General Motors Corp Vice Chairman Bob Lutz has defended remarks he made dismissing global warming as a "total crock of s---," saying his views had no bearing on GM's commitment to build environmentally friendly vehicles.Hey kids, learn the critical lesson:
Lutz, GM's outspoken product development chief, has been under fire from Internet bloggers since last month when he was quoted as making the remark to reporters in Texas.
In a posting on his GM blog on Thursday, Lutz said those "spewing virtual vitriol" at him for minimizing the threat of climate change were "missing the big picture."

When the Corporate Executives Assert Their Positions, This Does NOT mean that there is any connection between what they say and the truthier facts of the discusion.Remember when those whiners were once upset about torture, and how now there is no longer any need to worry about torture, because, well, all there is would be considered a harsh measure....
That was a way of helping folks understand that in America no one should be held accountable for what they really say, since it is all the fault of the Gay HomoZeXuals who are destroying the family!!!
Uh, would this be a bad time to ask why it is that GM gave up a global lead in the market place with their EV car, so that they could go into a long litigation with the state of California to prevent GM from utilizing that Global Lead In The MARKET PLACE!!!!
Or would that mean that we need to fix the 'tort reform' problem to prevent corporations from digging their own grave by frivilous law suits that they use to seek to prevent themselves from leading the pack???
Or should we just explain to them that it is not smart to do bad drugs...
