Is scary solstice time again....

actually it could be worse, but madmerle was ever so cool as to get me the season's CD from the freaks at A Very Scary Solstice holiday pack from the fine folks at the HP Lovecraft Historical Society. ( I just noticed that they also sell gift 'insanity certificates'.... ) what a wack....

Well the up side is that this has made the season more tolerable. I get up in the morning and get all optomistic.

Which I REALLY NEED, as I am currently having this unpleasant, "Hey, did I really brillo pad the back of my throat?" set of side effects to something that is not working and playing well with me....

Then there is the high weirdness that the fun is that FINALLY I got rid of the last of the old livermore mix of ink, and now have to deal with the whole emotional trauma of which ink, and what pens, work and play well together to solve which issues..... As IF... And I am reading the addendum to the paperback version of Jared Diamond's Guns, Germs and Steel and I must confess that it's the end of a cycle, and it soooo sucks!!!! I mean I read the follow on book first and now have this set of strange cross over angst about the core issues....

And the deep seated fear that with the arrival of the 'die off' most of this will not really matter that much.

But it could be worse, the stars could align, and folks would NOT vote for BuchCheney2008, and we would not get the Elder Gods to come out from down below and restore the traditional traditional family values...
