It was Probably the Impacted Pineal Gland....

I mean, duh
Summary: Responding to criticism of his "phony soldiers" comments, Rush Limbaugh again asserted that he had been referring to multiple military imposters -- including Jesse MacBeth -- rather than service members or former service members with whom he disagrees. Limbaugh described MacBeth as "the man I was referring to and others like him as 'phony soldiers.' " But immediately after the controversy erupted over his comments, Limbaugh twice claimed that he was "talking about one soldier with that 'phony soldier' comment, Jesse MacBeth."
[ cf Limbaugh offering inconsistent explanations for "phony soldiers" comment ]

We've so been through this before...

So why doesn't Rush Support Jesse MacBeth just because MacBeth got convicted of defrauding the VA for play acting as a war hero - gosh, that really should be something that Rush can empathise with.

Or is Rush multiplying the singularity here, or singularizing the multiplicity???

Or is the real majik, the great money shot
As the blog Crooks and Liars noted, during his September 28 broadcast, Limbaugh also expanded the group of "phony soldiers" to include Vietnam veteran Rep. John P. Murtha (D-PA) and Pvt. Scott Thomas Beauchamp, who is currently serving in Iraq.
[ (op cit) ]
Hey hammering on Murtha for being a Prick is one thing, but cranking on him as a phoney soldier, well, gosh Rush, what is the issue you keep trying to avoid here Homey???

Is your whole PTSD crisis from all of those combat missions with the Karl Rove Armoured Flying Saucer Corp finally catching up with you too???

Ah yes, what if we could just get rush a stand up gig in baghdad, outside of the green bunker line... you know, out where there are no Majik Protectors from the black water army....
