That Increase In Terrorist Activities Before the Recent Whatever?

Ok, help me out here, wasn't the 'increase' in terrorist activities in Iraq, since of course there is no insurgency there, was suppose to be a part of the whole HORROR of the run up to the most Recent Whatever That was The Most Historical Whatever, EVER!

So how exactly do we notice that it was an actual increase, especially given the ongoing 'terrorist activities' in Iraq?

Or are we back to 'numbers are numerical' and hence that they need their own Numerology free standing from the failed pre-9/11 evil liberal mathematics.
