Unholy Defeatist Cut And Runner!!! (The Not Nominated)

President George W. Bush, bowing to the Senate's new Democratic majority, has dropped efforts to win confirmation of four appeals court nominees who generated partisan opposition.

Bush won't resubmit the nominations of Terrence W. Boyle, Defense Department counsel William J. Haynes II and William G. Myers III to seats on federal appeals courts, said White House spokeswoman Emily Lawrimore. A fourth nominee who also sparked controversy, Michael Wallace, withdrew last month from consideration for a seat on the New Orleans-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

``We are obviously disappointed that these nominees did not receive the fair consideration that they deserve,'' Lawrimore said. ``We hope the days of judicial obstruction are behind us.''

Senator Charles E. Schumer, a New York Democrat, welcomed the administration's retreat as a sign Bush ``is heeding the message from the November election.'' He said Democrats would work with the administration ``to confirm judges who are not extremists, either left or right.''

Well, at least the good news is that this Bush Guy is not going to be making any Important Policy Positions for what goes on with the Defense Department, and the Totally Glorious Total March Towards Total Victory....

I mean can you believe that they even allow such DEFEATIST CUT AND RUNNERS into the Administration...

And that in a time of transfering the tax liabilities unto the Unborn....

Why it is just disgraceful... I mean, would a Real War President be listening to the mere plebian masses???
