Upgrading to Zyklon-B

I wonder if americans are less concerned about 'gassing' them with Carbon Monoxide, than with say, a 'chemical warfare agent'. Hence the ongoing debate about using fire weapons as a 'chemical warfare agent' is less worrisome to americans because, simply getting them to die a slow painful death is less problematic than killing them more cost effectively....

Or is it the happy hope that some how, since it is only the sort of natural toxic chemical fumes that are created in the average fire, that it's not like some special military style of fire, and hence, well.... or are we suppose to take the happier and more optomistic thought, that since the fire weapons can be avoided if the people will come out into the open where we can kill them with more conventional body ripping weapons like bullets and shrapnel, that it is not like we have to worry about the ones who die from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning - because they could have come out and been gunned down...

Hopefully the americans will be able to help me out on this little issue.
