Ah yes, why if only the American Commanders had thought about what sort of Troop Commitment it would mean, and where were those troops coming from, and why exactly we were going to be fooling around in some failed EuroTrash Force Deployment...

But I guess it really doesn't matter how this plays out now does it? The Pro-War Types will just go on whining that it was never their fault!!!! Simply because they did not have the MORAL COURAGE to call for an unequivocal declaration of war!!!! That would help support both raising War Bonds, so that there would be a sound fiscal underpinning to the war, as well as the sound legal basis for raising the troops who would be needed to do the actual 'war stuff'....
