What does the iranian thing really tell us about americans.

It is scary when we learn that Twitter is the new means to get information out of any country.

It is scary when we learn that there are still countries that will do the reality of the neoConRhetoric.

It is a tragedy that the freaks from FreeRepublic have never had a chance to learn their medicine in the streets.

Keeping alive whom they can. Because the threat to the survival of the patient exists because the secret police are picking up anyone found with wounds who winds up in a hospital or clinic.

What if americans had to live within the remains of their rhetoric.

{ arian1, in my next life I get to grow up and live in the suburbs and learn about warfare from dungeons and dragons, and about the realPolitik by reading HanoiAnnie Coulter and friends. }

Should Americans Support The Draft Dodger Kultur?

Or should we point out that since the Draft Dodger Kultur has survived all these years of active involvement in the ongoing IranqiStania Thingies - should we give them more emotional trauma about how the Obamanationists are giving all the good combat billets to gays and womens, and picking on the various pantsLoad players who would still not care about actually serving in the combat zone because, well, gosh, they STILL have better things to do with their life than be in the Welfare State that is the department of defense.

That being the case, what if we, as americans support the Iranian Opposition, as they seek to establish Iran as an Actual Free Republic, and not the noisey clattering space of mere religious bigotry seeking to pretend that they care about law...

yes, what if the Iranians will need to seek an iranian solution, and not another puppet of one more overseas occupation force....

Or as some already know - it is a whole different ball of wax, when you arrive in a country to do what one's morality mandates - without all of the luxuries and amenities of the state sponsored occupation of that country. But that way of course gets us into the mess of how committed are americans to the reality of their rhetoric.

Who knows, this might be a great time for americans to work out which position(s) they really hold about the need to have a 'religious state' that is capable of protecting them from the threat of mere civilians electing their own civilian government....

can you keep tack of the stoner moments?

Yesterday afternoon Glenn Beck and two of his guests argued that Adolph Hitler and the Nazi Party were "leftwing"; that "political correctness" led the committed white supremacist, James Von Brunn, to shoot a security guard at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC; and that ultimately President Barack Obama is the one responsible for the violence because his "bailouts" and "Socialistic" policies are engendering widespread anger. Beck denounced those who claim he is "churning the pot" because, he says, "the pot is already boiling."

Seeing this spectacle with subtitles at the gym led me to wonder if there are any laws on the books against using the public airwaves to incite violence. Because that is clearly what Beck is doing. I only caught about ten minutes of the show (about all I can stand) and it was a white reactionary tour de force -- incendiary, stupid, and racist.

[ cf Glenn Beck Spins the Holocaust Museum Shooting ]

Could there be a problem or six here that we as a nation will need to get back to, after we finish the current media events of Iran's effort to work out if they truly feel that they are being More Victimized by the Evil Obamanation, or by the home grown religious folks....

For those of you playing along at home, if you visit a book store, you will find that Glenn Beck has his own "common sense" book, that also includes one by some Atheist Thomas Paine. So is Glenn Beck actually attacking the Atheism of the original Thomas Paine, and all of the rest of that radical hard leftist God Hating America Bashers who supported the Rights of The Common Man, or is Glenn Beck just joking, because he never knew that Thomas Paine was a well known God Hating America Bashing Unamericanist! Cause, well, he never really actually understood all of that the age of reason stuff, cause we all know that the nation is so passed those failed modes of mere liberalism.

got Panic?

Ok, so am I suppose to worry more or less about the reality that the psuedoCons are MAJIKALLY all worried that the United States Dollar is teetering on the brink of collapse...

Would this be a bad time to talk about the questions of whether or not one should outsource one's own currency to the insanity of the notRationalExpectationsOfTheMarket?

Or would what take us into impolite places?

in case you were following the Geneva Convention Concerns

One of my formerly a member of the Tribe sent me: The Bush Administration's Stunning Geneva Hypocrisy.

It is somewhat interesting.

Who knows, as we continue the WhateverOnWhomever, I wonder why it is that so few of the FreeperVilleTypes are not willing to call for Geneva Convention Protection for their armed militant 'so called lone wolf' shooters - or is the core problem there that this would lead to the psychological trauma that the FreeperVilleFollies would have even more WarGuilt to cope with, since clearly the SpecialLoneWolfAssignmentKlique was giving all of the gooder LoneWolf assignments to gays and girls, just like the welfare queens in IranqiStania.

Code Junkies Side Bar

Excuse me while I skip aside for a moment, but it is amusing to google for "Perl Role" and look at the discussion about the notion of a 'role' and how this will fit into the intellectual space of perl code.

It is an interesting place to be talking about the nature and types of what makes a role, and what, well should just be globbulated through as an 'inherited method' - and of course the obligatory crisis of faith that comes once one allows multiple class inheritance.

Since, well, when one is reading about social darwinism in american thought (see also Social darwinism) it, well, adds a tangy taste to all of this...

How exactly DO meme's transmogrify themselves...

And should we stop all reasoning; you know, for reasons of national security...

And we have made progress how?

Conservative commentator George Will called Hofstadter "the iconic public intellectual of liberal condescension," who "dismissed conservatives as victims of character flaws and psychological disorders—a 'paranoid style' of politics rooted in 'status anxiety,' etc. Conservatism rose on a tide of votes cast by people irritated by the liberalism of condescension."[18] Hofstadter's famous 1964 essay, The Paranoid Style in American Politics, articulates this partly psychological characterization of thinking on the radical right.[19]
[ cf wiki: Richard Hofstadter ]
Now seriously folks....

The currently victimized so called conservatives who are clearly deeply emotionally traumatized because in Iran, they know how to deal with the HORRORS of Liberalism, are... well, actually a clear and compelling proof by existence that these so called conservatives are not the actual victims of their mere character flaws and psychological disorders???

And thus showing that they are, uh, not merely the paranoid style of politics rooted in the status anxiety that they would be someone, were it not for the horrors of liberalism.

No please, how exactly are we suppose to Patriotically Correctly Parse Komrade Party Leader Will's Clearly Divinely Correct position...

on second thot

What is wrong with kids these days?

Should it worry me that my daughter is now OFFICIALLY off the list of normal people I am willing to introduce to my son....

I mean, what is wrong with kids these days....
