Torture Team – Deception, Cruelty and the Compromise of Law.

Hum... wonder if americans will be interested in the legal and ethical issues related to the torture policies of the american government.

Or are they tooo tied down in the HORROR of how Viciously the Dick Cheney Team had always been god hating america bashing regulators who crushed the freedom of the market place because of their Zombie Canadianist Gay HomoZeXual Marriage Agendanista....

I mean, really, do americans have the time to be constructively engaged in a debate about state policy?

Why I Find Reaganites make the Best Stoners...

Hum...

On the one hand they have this emotional attachment to the fifties, but are very afraid to test any of their theoretical knowledge - since there are some really scary things that will byte them in the ARSE!!!

First off if we are to by the throw back to laissez faire capitalism, and the majikal hope that majikally, the majik will be majikal - then there is that core problem:
How did laissez faire capitalism cause the rise of the middle class culture?
Since if you can not resolve that core contradiction, then the fetish for the fifties fails grotesquely! Since one is yearning for something that systemically one is also opposing by opposing the very things that brought the fifties into play!!!

I mean, if the very cause of the creation of the Middle Class is not the Romantic Spencerianist Survival of the Fitist so called Social Darwinism that is the Mythological ROOT of the John Galt rugged individualism of Randianist Mysticism....

Then why should one want to have a fetish for the fifties?

Obviously a backlash against the whole 'anti-middle class' whine of the sixties, as people start trying to deal with the various problems of how to add meaning, now that the Bear Necessities are fundamentally being satisfied....

As well as noticing that in spite of how good things are going, there are still so many who are below the poverty level...

So the 'retreat to the fifties' mythos, is core to 'movement conservatives' - since, well, the sixties were the evil times - when there were civil rights, negroes allowed to live with white people, and women wanted to be considered as if they were actual human beings, and all of those BAD THINGS that were just SOOOO WRONG!

Thus the dialectical tension within the whole NeoConClownCarCrew comes crashing down in one very amusing
They SOOOO Jumped The Shark
in ways that are... well, just tooo funny...

They want an economic theory that opposes the rise of the very middle class that they want to protect, from those who are opposed to mere Bourgeoisies Sentimentality - ah yes... as if any of that was ever that simple in the sixties...

So to all the Stoner NeoConClownCarCrew,
PASS THE BONG!
You Be Totally Baked

God!!! The Evil Liberals Are COMING!!!!

Well, the up side is that I learned what happened to my 401K gambit - since, well, some GODLESS COMMUNIST RATBASTARD has all of these rules that oblige the Evil Korporate OverLords to set limitations on how fast we do certain thinks, like plumping up our 401(k), simply because we The GOD FEARING WHITE CHRISTIAN AMERICANS are not living on the pay check to pay check life style like the EVIL LIBERAL Dick Cheney Regulators of the Economy have imposed upon all because of their Evil Socialist Ways....

Oh, did I mention the part where there are ways to game even that game...

Ah yes, GamesPerKinShip - the ideology that allows one to play around...

Should there be an official news organization?

Komrade party leade3r haineux noted two good articles in Daring Fireball gives me a couple of really really smart pointers which cover a lot of tech stuff, but along the way raise the core question
Would an intelligence revolution be mo better?
since people will still need to resolve if they trust the news like products being passed to them.

I mean who today would doubt that Saddam Hussein lead the Iranqian Flyings Saucers to attack the world trade center, and that this was shown to be clearly the root cause reason that americans opted to restore the wetlands in Iranq for the TreeHuggerInChief.

I mean, the clear and cogent arguments that were rationally put forward and debated, were so clear and cogent, and compelling....

What better proof can we also present than the ideological purity of the so called financial press, that has so clearly established beyond a doubt that the rational expectations of the market are miraculousely miraculouse!

So maybe there is a clear clarion call for americans to work out what they consider 'actionable intelligence', and do they want to be a part of the solution, or the problem.

KOMMUNISTS ARE KOMMING!!

Rich people and free trade are imperiled. While Obama’s distracted by healthcare daydreams, cynical congressional Democrats are threatening rich executives at AIG with bills of attainder, ex post facto laws, outright murder, and (worst of all) breach of contract by withholding the bonuses that such salt of the earth types deserve. Any populist objection to executive bonuses is a cynical ploy; ergo, this is a naked powergrab by socialist demagogues which, if successful, will destroy the world economy conclusively and forever.
[ cf Crapcaphony ]
WOW.

Who can doubt that this proves beyond a reasonable doubt that DearOldDickCheney was always a Godless America Bashing Regulator undermining the will of the free Market...

Ok. so I like the whole "the shorter XXXX" construct, but sadly no, I am not going to engage in that evil.

World Net Daily supports Mutiney...

Ah yes...
An invitation to soldiers and peace officers across the United States to pledge to refuse illegal orders – including "state of emergency" orders that could include disarming or detaining American citizens – has struck a chord, collecting more than 100,000 website visitors in a little over a week and hundreds of e-mails daily.

Spokesman Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers told WND his organization's goal is to remind military members their oath of allegiance is to the U.S. Constitution, not a particular president.

He said the organization deliberately does not collect the names of those who subscribe to Oath Keepers' beliefs because of their status mostly as active duty soldiers.
...
The U.S., Rhodes noted to WND, was launched as a natural law republic, meaning the founders recognized all rights come from God, not the government.

The founders, many of whom ended up active militarily in the revolution, rebelled "against the principle" that a king or parliament could rule them.

[ cf Soldiers pledge to refuse disarmament demands
Campaign urges members of military to 'steel resolve' to 'do the right thing']
Funny, how not that long ago, the WND was not willing to concieve that it was possible to have unlawful orders...

Since of course, all torture is good torture...

And now... now what is this...

Besides who can miss the clear argument in the US Constitution that the government is a gift of the one true god....
