More Phoney Civilians Stabbing Our Troops In The Back!!!

It is always funny to find the WingNutBrigade going gaga on some issue:
At the Supreme Court today, a dangerous principle is being asserted to help an odious man.
...
But the president cannot create individual rights or order state courts to ignore their states’ laws without any congressional authorization.

WHAT????

These Phoney Civilians want to limit the power of the Unitary Executive Lead by the Greatest War President Ever who heads The One True And Only Holy Trinity....

What Next???

What this nation needs, more Indemnification...

I think that you all agree with the Glorious SuccessFul Victory of Indemnifying the BlackWater Army under the Glorious New Successful Victory Land of Iraq, that this sets the great new progress for progressing to indemnifying the Phone Çompany.... Oh Yeah, that's what the President's Analyst will really need to feel, well, and wonderful.

So folks, remember to tell your congressional persons that the President's Analyst's FEAR of the Phone Company is no good excuse for america to prevent the Unified President to have the powers to do what ever those powers will do...
President Bush says he has "serious concerns" about a Congressional proposal to add more safeguards in domestic spying laws.
...
He is also calling for Congress to implement a retroactive legal immunity for telecommunication companies that have helped the government conduct surveillance.

[ cf Bush Concerned About Democrats' Plan for US Spy Bill ]
Yes, we need more retroactive legal immunities!!! That will be the new age new wave dance craze for the next set of glories!!!

How To Do Stand Up Comedy...

During the October 8 edition of CNBC's The Big Idea, host Donny Deutsch asked right-wing pundit Ann Coulter: "If you had your way ... and your dreams, which are genuine, came true ... what would this country look like?" Coulter responded, "It would look like New York City during the [2004] Republican National Convention. In fact, that's what I think heaven is going to look like." She described the convention as follows: "People were happy. They're Christian. They're tolerant. They defend America." Deutsch then asked, "It would be better if we were all Christian?" to which Coulter responded, "Yes." Later in the discussion, Deutsch said to her: "[Y]ou said we should throw Judaism away and we should all be Christians," and Coulter again replied, "Yes." When pressed by Deutsch regarding whether she wanted to be like "the head of Iran" and "wipe Israel off the Earth," Coulter stated: "No, we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say. ... That's what Christianity is. We believe the Old Testament, but ours is more like Federal Express. You have to obey laws."
[ cf On CNBC's The Big Idea, Coulter said that "we" Christians "just want Jews to be perfected" (emphasis added to get to the punch line(s))]
Ah yes...

The happier america, where there are none of, well, those other types...

The problem with the Media Matter Folks, is that they do not accept that the trains will run on time, and everyone will have fresh soap...

Things to do while waiting for armageddon...

I had a lovely chat with the lead engineer, and he paused me up, with: "but first you will have to explain to me what you are talking about....."

And I suddenly noticed that I had failed to mention that this was a lovely fix for a bug report he had put into the system about 12 hours before they froze the company bank account while the major investors argue about the sort of things they argue about, as they work out IF they are going to fund the company... or crash it because of their deep seated unresolved childhood issues from some past life experience.

So with just a little bit of "focus", I was able to get him to understand that there are certain classes of fixes that are just the right thing anyway. Since if we get reconstituted as a proper corporation, then fine, this goes out in the next release.... Otherwise, it made a lovely blog entry...
