got Torture?

President George W. Bush signed legislation to allow the trial of suspected terrorists by military tribunals, and his administration immediately used the law to challenge suits by hundreds of Guantanamo Bay detainees.

Bush said he was signing the Military Commissions Act ``in memory of the victims'' of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

``The bill I sign today helps secure this country,'' Bush said today at a White House ceremony. ``We will answer brutal murder with patient justice. Those who kill the innocent will be held to account.''

Except if you were innocent when we detained you....

Ah yes, the kinder and gentler america, where you have a reasonable belief that you might be Innocent of a crime IF you have been released from Detention - but you really should not bet on that, since, well, they could be just, well joking.

But I guess this makes it clear to all americans that the President will not be stepping aside in 2008, as some Radical Left Wing Extremists have been suggesting. Since, can anyone really believe that the Greatest Military Leader EVER!!!! would allow such powers to fall into the hands of anyone other than the Greatest Military Leader, EVER!!!!

Long Live Great Leader!!! For Great Leader Is Great!!! Only Great Leader Deserves the Holy Praise Of The Congregation!!! Let Us Go And Sing the Praises of Great Leader!!! For Great Leader Makes The Sun To Rise In The East!!! All Praise To Great Leader!!!!

Konkidenk Or Konspirakii - you....

A Houston judge Tuesday vacated Enron founder Kenneth Lay's fraud and conspiring convictions from the company's 2001 collapse, citing Lay's inability to appeal, according to a court administrator.

Lay, 64, died in July from severe coronary artery disease in Aspen, Colo., as he was awaiting sentencing, according to Dr. Robert Kurtzman.

Judge Sim Lake's decision terminates the criminal case against Lay and its affects on his estate, which was left to Lay's wife, Linda.

Because he can not appeal.... the case is tossed out.... Interesting.

And on the same day that Great Leader signs the National Torture Anyone Anywhere Bill!!! And goes to court to seeek a way to get more stays on the possible convictions of persons whom the government may just have to vanish rather than well, deal with them falling into the hands of those Evil Black Robed Judicial Tyrannts....

All Hail Great Leader!!! For Great Leader Is Great!!!
