Can We Afford A Civilian Government

"Allowing retired generals to dictate our country's policies and its leadership would be a dangerous precedent that would severely undermine our country's long tradition of civilian control of the military," Ford said.

"It would discourage civilian leaders at the (Defense) Department from having frank and candid exchanges with military officers. And, today, at a time of war, such an effort sends exactly the wrong message both to our troops deployed abroad and to our enemies who are watching for any signs of weakness or self-doubt."

Ford suggested that the issue stemmed from Bush's efforts to change the military.

Ok, So since the whole world changed on 09/11/2001, what is the point in fooling ourselves that we can afford to retreat back into the failed follies of the failed liberal agenda of the pre-911 mindset.

Would americans want to retreat From The Holy Crusade? Would Americans Want to Abandon The Great Leader! The Divinely Annointed? The Greatest Military Leader EVER! The Most Exahalted And Supreme! The Defender Of The Faith! The Architect Of All Operable Truths!!!

Simply so that some Failed Liberal Democratic Principles could be maintained by Traitors Seeking To Destroy Our White Christian America.

Hum... If Dubya Picked Rummy to Reform the Military away from play "Team America:World Police" and to prevent the Evil Hitlary and her RadFemiNazi's from embarking on the Evil Of Nation Building as a Part of the Blue Helmetted One Worlders, why exactly DID El Presidente accidentally insert American Troops into Iraq to restore the Iraqi Wetlands without the planning, preperations, manpower, logistical support, Tactical Policy Guidelines, Strategic Vision, and Decisive Global Support????

Could it be that Dubya was having a Bad Hair Day, and well, Damn He just stabbed the troops in the back because his domestic political agenda of play acting as a War President took precedence over getting his head out of his Methane Port...
