Bible Burning As Force Protection...

Now that is an interesting take on the them....

Are the American troops in Afghanistan there to proseylatize on the federal tax payer's dollars?
The military bars Soldiers from proselytizing in Afghanistan, where even the perception of doing so could result in violence against American forces. The Bibles were donated by a U.S. church and sent to a congregation member deployed to Afghanistan.

"The decision was made that it was a 'force protection' measure to throw them away, because, if they did get out, it could be perceived by Afghans that the U.S. government or the U.S. military was trying to convert Muslims," Wright told CNN.

Now remind me again why it was that Dubya was not willing to liberate Bible Missionaries in Afghanistan, PRIOR to the 911 event????
