more fun in the Torture Place

For those of you who were not following along, another fun is up at Department of Huh? where once again the real question is whether or not Clive Crook is back pedaling on the torture issue, or is this more of the same old call to faith, and that because it is not easy to explain it must be a proof of the existence of God, and not merely illogical.

Which of course runs into the core problem, since Komrade party leader Cook opted for
Instead, Crook wrote: "Congress should make waterboarding a crime... it has had many chances... to do so. The fact is, it has chosen not to..."
( op cit )
Which skips the Reagan Era convictions with regards to waterboarding as both torture and criminal.

Unless of course america really did slip a cog or two on 09/11 and thus mere conviction in a Reagan Era Court is not like they were really crimes, because in the Reagan Era they got convictions against people who were not engaged in crimes....
